San Diego Therapist Website and Blog

Jane Doe | Licensed San Diego Therapist

As a therapist, I’ve been working with people for many years helping them to live happier and healthier lives. Through my background in working with a range of people from all types of backgrounds, I’ve started to truly learn what works and what doesn’t.

Helping people confront their frustrations and sources of unhappiness requires a special type of personality: one that is welcoming yet motivating.  I help you to confront the sources of unhappiness in your life and turn them around. I’ve been working as a San Diego Therapist for nearly 10 years and it’s been rewarding to help people on their life journey and to help people make changes that need to be made.

My main focus is working with adults, teens, and couples needing marriage therapy. We can work very well together if you’re trying to overcome depression, anxiety, or some generally frustrated patterns going on in your life. Starting from the first session, we will work together to figure out what your strengths in life are, what is not working, and what you want to accomplish.

My style of work is usually different depending on your needs. While working with families and couples, we focus on improving relationships by helping you learn to express and understand what is important to your loved ones. If you’re coming to therapy on your own, we work together to figure out how to change current behaviors or patterns in your life that may be causing tension. In addition, we can work together to confront and overcome issues in your past that may be the source of unhappiness.

As far as my background, I have a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in Marriage, Family, and Child counseling. I’ve been married for nearly 20 years and have raised two kids that are now in their mid-twenties.
